Following the last pick up point at Westbury, the coach will travel to The Fleet Air Museum for a coffee stop. From there, we head to The Donkey Sanctuary for lunch. There are new facilities here, which come highly recommended.
After lunch, we set off for A La Ronde, on the outskirts of Exmouth. This unique sixteen-sided house was described by Lucinda Lambton as having 'a magical strangeness that one might dream of only as a child'. It was built for two spinster cousins, Jane and Mary Parminter, on their return from a grand tour of Europe in the late 18th century. It contains many objects and mementoes of their travels.
Exmouth is situated at the mouth of the beautiful Exe estuary and at the beginning of the world famous and stunning Jurassic Coast. The rest of our tour will be spent at the seafront with ample time for tea.
